THE NORTH FACE STANDARD launches the 2025 Autumn/Winter Capsule Collection

Designed with functionality at its core.

THE NORTH FACE STANDARD has introduced a range of winter-appropriate outerwear: the GORE-TEX fishtail parka, detachable quilted jacket, and GORE-TEX compact windbreaker. The collection centers on functionality, drawing inspiration from classic military silhouettes, and combines aesthetic appeal with inherent practicality. The GORE-TEX fishtail parka, based on the M65 field jacket, features a three-layer waterproof and breathable fabric, with taped internal seams to enhance weather resistance. Its internal zip system allows compatibility with insulating layers and waterproof outer shells for connection. The detachable quilted jacket is primarily characterized by its removable sleeves, enabling wearers to adjust to temperature changes. The GORE-TEX quick-drying windbreaker is entirely crafted from GORE-TEX fabric, with weather-resistant properties to handle varying weather conditions.

In addition, GORE-TEX footwear specifically designed for various winter environments will be released soon. Among them, the VECTIV Thunder GORE-TEX utilizes sole technology derived from trail running shoes, paired with an arched EVA midsole that facilitates efficient walking; the Nuptse Bootie Backzip GTX features a durable SPECTRA tear-resistant upper and a Vibram ARCTICGRIP all-terrain outsole, providing excellent traction even on ice. Each shoe is equipped with THE NORTH FACE's signature VECTIV and NUPTSE technologies, as well as the GORE-TEX membrane, making them suitable for both daily winter wear and outdoor activities.
